General Terms and Conditions – INEQUINE

1. Applicability & Contract Formation

These T&Cs apply to all orders from INEQUINE (www.inequine.ch). By placing an order, you accept these terms. Swiss law (Code of Obligations, CO/OR) applies.


The place of jurisdiction is Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne, Canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

2. Preorder and Dispatch

  • Many items are preorder items: we only dispatch once the product arrives in our stock.
  • Production and delivery times vary by supplier. Items like rider boots, helmets, bridles may take significantly longer to produce.
  • Delivery time estimates on the website are non-binding, and delays may occur.
  • If a delay becomes excessive, we will contact you and propose alternatives (exchange, voucher, or cancellation).

3. Payment

Choose your preferred payment method:Online payment: Visa, MasterCard,TWINT,PostFinance

Payment by bank transfer is possible on our account.

Payment deadline is 14 days from invoice. Partial payment possible upon request.

         4. Shipping

        Choose the most comfortable way of shipping for you:
  • Shipping is done only after the product is in our stock.
  • For mixed orders (some items in stock, some preorders), the default is to ship all together when the preorder arrives. You may request partial shipment (extra shipping cost may apply).
  • Switzerland: CHF 9.90 for orders < CHF 250; free for ≥ CHF 250. Delivery via La Poste, 2–4 working days after dispatch.
  • International: costs shown at checkout. Shipping via PostPac International.
  • Customs / import duties: these are not included in your order. The recipient must pay them. Unclaimed or refused DDU shipments may be destroyed or returned. If returned, we deduct a handling fee (e.g. CHF 40)

5. Customer pickup:

  • You may pick up your order at our store in Cheseaux-sur-Lausanne by appointment.

5.1 Free trying on:

Free try-on is offered for certain products (e.g. bridles) within Canton Vaud / Fribourg, by prior booking. Courier charges may apply.


6. Warranty & Liability

  • The statutory 2-year warranty (defect liability) under Swiss law applies. If a product is defective or lacks promised features, you may request repair, replacement, or reduction / rescission.

  • For leather goods: natural variations do not constitute defects.

  • For compression / HIDEZ products: liability for rupture or damage (e.g. from misuse or horse biting) is excluded.

  • We are not liable for delays caused by supplier production, customs, or force majeure.


7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Swiss law provides no automatic right of return or refund.
  • We do not offer refunds.
  • Exchange policy: within 20 days after receipt, you may request an exchange if the item is unused, in original condition, with all tags and packaging.
    1. You return the unwanted product at your cost.
    2. You place a new order for the desired item.
  • If exchange is not feasible, we may issue a voucher equal to the product’s value.

8. Force Majeure & Delays

  • We are not responsible for delays or non-performance due to supplier delays, customs, strikes, natural disasters, or other events beyond our control.
