A Swiss family business, since 2017

Tested on our horses. Chosen for yours.

A horse cannot tell you when something rubs, pinches or frightens him. So we find out first — on our own horses, through our own winters — and only then do we offer it to you.

How it began

INEQUINE started in 2017, in a Swiss stable, out of a simple frustration: too much of what we were sold looked beautiful in a catalogue and fitted badly in real life.

We are a family, and we ride at professional level. Between us we have spent our lives around horses — every temperament, every shape, every strong opinion about what is comfortable. It is the only qualification we have ever needed.

Nothing reaches you untested

Every rug, every pad, every boot in this shop has spent time on our own horses before it is offered to yours. Through Swiss winters, through wet spring turnout, through the long weeks in which a horse tells you the truth about a piece of equipment.

If it rubs, slips, or is simply not worth what it costs, it never reaches the shop. That is not a marketing promise. It is only the order in which we do things.

What we believe

The horse comes first

Comfort and safety are not features we compare at the end of a list. They are where we begin. If a piece of equipment is not right for the animal wearing it, nothing else about it matters.

Few brands, chosen slowly

We do not try to carry everything. We work with a small number of exclusive brands, several of them hard to find in Switzerland, and we choose them exactly as we choose equipment for our own yard.

And the person in the saddle

A comfortable horse makes a braver rider. The two are never separate. Everything here is meant to make the hours you spend together safer, easier and more of a pleasure.

Still a small family business

We still choose every brand ourselves, and we still test everything at home first. If you are looking for something and cannot find it, write to us — you will reach the people who ride.
