Hello, I'm Daria
I have ridden all my life. I run this shop with my family, here in Switzerland. Everything you see here has been on my horses before it reaches yours.
How it started
I started INEQUINE in 2017 because I was tired of buying things that looked good in a catalogue and fitted badly on my horse.
I ride at competition level and my family rides too. Between us we have known every kind of horse, every shape, every strong opinion about what is comfortable. That is the only training I have ever needed for this work.
Nothing reaches you untested
Every rug, every pad, every boot in this shop has been on my own horses before I offer it to yours. Swiss winters, wet spring turnout, and the long weeks when a horse tells you the truth about a piece of equipment.
If it rubs, slips, or is simply not worth the money, it does not go in the shop. That is not a promise I made up for the website. It is just the order I do things in.
What matters to me
The horse comes first
Comfort and safety are not things I check at the end of a list. They are where I start. If a piece of equipment is not right for the animal wearing it, nothing else about it matters.
Few brands, chosen slowly
I do not try to sell everything. I work with a small number of brands, several of them hard to find in Switzerland, and I choose them the way I choose equipment for my own horses.
And the person in the saddle
A comfortable horse makes a braver rider. The two go together. Everything here is meant to make the hours you spend together safer, easier and a little more joyful.
Still a small family business
I still choose every brand myself, and I still test everything at home first. If you are looking for something and cannot find it, write to me. I answer my own emails.
